It’s that time of year again; time to pull out the Christmas decor and get in the spirit of the season. I love decorating for Christmas and try to put a little bit of holiday cheer into every room, including the bathroom. Using Christmas bathroom decor accessories makes it easy to transform even the smallest room in your home.
Plaid Possibilities
Plaid works well for Christmas decorating as it makes any room feel homey and ready for the holidays. A plaid Merry Christmas banner and a well placed fabric wreath reminds visitors of the season. Set some fluffy towels wrapped in a wide plaid ribbon on a shelf for an extra accent; and add a plaid accented shower curtain too.
Reindeer Games
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen…Rudolph. Which is your favorite reindeer of them all?
For me, Christmas is about children and fun so adding some reindeer Christmas bathroom accessories to our bathroom just makes sense. These reindeer themed wall hangings are super cute without being kitchy – plus they combine the reindeer AND the plaid theme. Win-win! Are you a toilet cover family? If so, then this reindeer set is the cutest – a mat, toilet seat lid cover, tank cover, and tissue box cover that transforms your toilet into a reindeer. 🙂 Add a fun reindeer soap dispenser and night light will ensure that the reindeer games continue on through the night!
Farmhouse Christmas
I think this is my favorite way to decorate for Christmas, and it extends so nicely into the bathroom. A few simple elements can make a Farmhouse bathroom look Christmas-y without too much effort. A simple wall hanging is a nice touch; I seriously can’t decide between this Nativity scene, this Merry Christmas board, or the Merry Farmhouse Christmas one! Suspend a few of these wooden ornaments from twigs and hang them on the wall, or hang them directly on one of these slim trees that would tuck into a corner easily. Candles always make a room feel cozier; these flame-less birch affect candles nestled onto a metal tray will also make a nice night light.
Mirrored Tidings
Using vinyl lettering to decorate the bathroom mirror creates an impactful look without taking up any space. It’s also super easy. Simply clean the surface well, make sure it’s dry, mark out where you want the decal to be placed, and then apply. A great holiday decorating idea – also easily removed!
Now to decide on ‘Comfort and Joy‘, ‘Merry Christmas‘, ‘Merry and Bright‘, or ‘Let it Snow‘.
A Golden Glow
Gold bathroom accessories add a beautiful, and elegant, element to holiday decorating. Weave a gold detailed, beaded, light-garland around a small, golden Christmas tree to get things started. Add some decorative Christmas balls and bows around the room, and finish with a golden-hued shower curtain.
Scandinavian Style
Scandinavian holiday decor is known for being minimalist, light and airy, and driven by a feeling of nature. Keeping elements simple – such as this minimalist wreath design – and defined by nature will create a Nordic feeling.
White Night
Elegant, simple, and uncomplicated. A white Christmas decor is easy to achieve and projects understated elegance all season long. A simple white wreath, small Christmas tree, and white fairy lights strung through shelving can say ‘Christmas’ without too much work at all.
Twiggy Tree
Proof that even a non-traditional Christmas tree can take center stage in a room. Hang some Christmas ornaments on a twiggy tree to create a feeling of Christmas without taking up too much visual space.
City Sidewalks
City sidewalks. Busy sidewalks. Dressed in holiday style. Silver Bells is such a classic Christmas song; you can’t help but sing along when you see this wooden wall hanging. A great addition to a casual Christmas decor.
Shower Curtain Fun
I absolutely adore this reindeer shower curtain! So much fun.
Snowmen For Days
Aren’t snowmen just the funnest Christmas bathroom accessories? With their twiggy arms, carrot nose, and smiling face; they’re always so cheery and happy looking. Bring Frosty into your bathroom with this toilet seat cover set or shower curtain. Or keep it simple with some snowman hand towels.
Candle Magic
Candles instantly make a space cozy and inviting, don’t you think? Whether you tuck real candles, or flameless ones, into your Christmas decor, their warm glow will add to the magic of the season. When I was a kid we had a candle in the shape of Santa’s boot. We never lit that candle; every year we would tease and joke about lighting it, but we never did. My mum still carefully places it on the mantle every year – and we still tease her about lighting it.
Winning With Red
Red is the color of the season. Red towels, a Christmas themed red shower curtain, and red garland combine to bring an understated Christmas theme together.
The Most Wonderful Time
The most wonderful time of the year. A great way to get the theme of the season going; you’ll be humming this tune every trip to the bathroom.
How will you be decorating your Christmas bathroom this year?
